Air Force continues anniversary celebration at NASCAR race

Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. CQ Brown, Jr., addresses a televised and in-person audience including 23 future Airmen who stood in a formation for their Oath of Enlistment ceremony on Victory Lane inside the Road America race course near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, July 3, 2022. During his Road America visit, Brown talked to recruiters, met with new Delayed Entry Program members, and toured a national recruiting asset called "The Hangar." Brown participated in race day activities including driver introductions, honors to the nation including a C-17 Globemaster III flyover, and he got an up close view of pit crew and racing team operations. He met with Erik Jones, the driver of Petty GMS Motorsport’s No. 43 car. The Air Force sponsors the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1ZE that Jones drove during the Kwik Trip 250 NASCAR Cup Series race July 3, 2022.
