Senior Airman Charles Meagher, a boom operator assigned to the 914th Air Refueling Wing, operates the fueling boom of a KC-135 Stratotanker as a B-52 Stratofortress approaches to be fueled May 17. During the 910th Airlift Wing 2018 Civic Leader Tour, participants got to watch Meagher refuel the B-52, he also gave demonstrations on how the fueling boom operates. The 910th AW holds civic leader tours to attain advocates for Youngstown Air Reserve Station and provide the public with an understanding of the Air Force’s mission and capabilities.
