Cleto Rodriguez (left) comedian and TV personality on Channel 4, WOAI was this year’s special guest. Cleto’s grandfather, Cleto L. Rodríguez, a native who grew up in San Antonio, served in both the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Air Force, received a Medal of Honor for his actions in Manila and in the Philippines during World War II. Alamo Wing members participate in a Tug-of-war competition during the 433rd Airlift Wing’s 2014 Folklife Festival, Sept 19, 2014. The festival also featured activities such as the “Fun-in-Fitness, Mini-Olympics” that included a three legged race, mini tricycle race, endurance completion, a strategic course and Tug-of-war. Awards were presented to the top three participants in each event.
