Mobile App is "One Stop Shop" for 433rd Airlift Wing

The 433rd Airlift Wing launches new mobile application, for both iPhone and Android users. The intent of the app is to keep Airmen, families, and the public informed about the latest updates and news at the Alamo Wing.

"The Airmen spoke and we listened, so we have to adapt our ways of communicating with Airmen of today," said Col. David Scott 433rd AW vice commander. "Everyone has a smartphone, it's like having a mini computer in your hand and we are used to having information at our fingertips. So that's the impetus behind this mobile app, the genesis of this is to convey communication send communication to our Airmen."

Highlights of the mobile app include, 443rd AW News, a Unit Training Assembly schedule, unit directory, base maps, local weather forecast, and other useful tools.

The free app can be downloaded at the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for Android. Once downloaded, please rate the app. The feedback allows app managers to make changes based on recommendations from Airmen on how to best serve the wing.
