433rd Airlift Wing Public Affairs

9/12/2012 - JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas  -- The 433rd Training Squadron welcomes its new commander Lt. Col. Brian Carter during a change of command ceremony Sept. 8, at the 324th Training Squadron Auditorium, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland.

Col. Craig Petersen, 433rd Mission Support Group commander, officiated the ceremony.  Carter took over the helm of the squadron as Col. Deborah Farris relinquished command.

"I am confident that the Training Squadron will continue to flourish under Lt. Col. Carter's leadership," Petersen said.

The 433rd Training Squadron is scheduled to transfer to the 340th Flying Training Group  at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas effectively Oct. 1.
