  • San Antonio dedicates Tribute to Freedom sculpture

    The city of San Antonio celebrated the completion of phase one of the Lackland Corridor Gateway Project with the dedication of the Tribute to Freedom sculpture March 27, 2019, at the corner of U.S. Highway 90 and Military Drive.

  • Valley-Hi gate construction scheduled; In-bound traffic closed

    Inbound lanes for the Valley-Hi (Airmen’s Gate) will be completely closed beginning Jan. 21 while normal outbound lanes will be transitioned to accommodate two-way traffic. Traffic flow will be severely impacted. Individuals who typically use Valley-Hi will need to use an alternative entry point.

  • Civic leaders land in Lone Star State

    At approximately 9 a.m. on May 17, 2018, 31 civic leaders and six military escorts participating in the 910th Airlift Wing’s 2018 Civic Leader Tour, boarded a 912th Air Refueling Wing KC-135 Stratotanker bound for the 433rd Airlift Wing’s flightline, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
