Twenty-two civic leaders from the March Air Reserve Base, California area, Maj. Gen Randall A. Ogden, 4th Air Force commander, and 4th AF Command Chief Master Sgt. Timothy C. White Jr. visited the 433rd Airlift Wing and the Center for the Intrepid in San Antonio, Texas Oct. 1, 2018.

The Air Force conducts tours for civic leaders to visit military installations and organizations to build relationships and understanding of the military mission in communities which surround military installations.

The tour took the group to Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., then to San Antonio as the last stop before returning to March Air Reserve Base, California near Riverside.

While in San Antonio, the group received a mission brief from Col. Thomas K. Smith Jr., 433rd Airlift Wing commander, stopped for lunch at a local restaurant where they were briefed by honorary commander alumni Dave Saylor, and visited the Center for the Intrepid at Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston.
