C-5M undergoes post flight inspection

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- Staff Sgt. Stefani Holt, 433rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, wipes down ball screws on the landing gear of a C-5M Super Galaxy at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, Jan. 11, 2018. Holt was preparing the largest airlifter in the Air Force inventory for a Basic Post Flight Inspection. The aircraft can carry a fully equipped combat-ready military unit to any point in the world on short notice and then provide the supplies required to help sustain the fighting force.
